About WST Aggregator

WST Aggregator is a versatile platform boasting over 35 integrations with various air content providers, including GDS, direct airline connectors via NDC or PSS, consolidators, and marketplaces. With deeply elaborated connectivities covering fare search, booking, ticketing, ancillary upsell, and automatic refund/exchange support, it offers seamless access to all content through a single API. Basic Structure

The system includes interfaces to web services of GDS/SRS booking systems as well as interfaces to systems of other service providers. Based on the settings and business rules entered into the system, the application routes search requests to the booking systems and processes the results. Similarly, the application interacts with booking systems during the order generation process and secondary operations. Integration with payment systems allows users to arrange real-time payment for their orders. The system provides the ability to work with content both in the agency's own location and in the locations of the agency's partners (consolidators and brokers) using the relevant details.

Main Functional Modules

  • Air ticket search and booking module with support for automated ticketing operations, secondary operations (exchange, refund) and sale of additional services of air carriers with EMD generation.
  • User's Personal Cabinet module, designed to work with orders and to manage the user's profile and preferences.
  • A corporate module designed to manage travel policies and travel approval processes for employees of organisations.
  • Inventory module designed for managing own seat resource by charterers of charter flights and block holders and for organising sales of this seat resource through the system.
    The module allows to enter data on seat resources, tariffs and rules of their application, to work with orders on a flight.
  • The Pricing Policy module is designed to manage markups, discounts and commissions when working with customers. The module is extremely flexible in terms of the ability to use fine-tuned pricing business rules (for example, pricing policies in the "Airline tickets" section contain over 60 parameters, depending on which it is possible to manage markups and commissions for carriage).
  • Company Balance module designed to manage the limits set in monetary terms for the shipment of airline tickets and other services to counterparties.
  • The Analytics, Statistics and Reporting module is designed for quick access to visual analytical information to monitors of the current state of the system in terms of requests and sales and to statistical reports on key sales indicators. For comprehensive analytics it is possible to obtain initial data for further uploading to data storages and further processing.

Functionality of B2B

The b2b mode in the System is designed to help solve the most urgent tasks faced by airlines, consolidators and large agents when working with the subagent network. The graphic interface of the system in b2b mode is designed taking into account the need to maximise automation of routine subagent processes, to make work in the b2b terminal simple, clear and efficient, while leaving in the hands of the agent all the key tools to control the subagent's activities.

  • Entry and storage of subagent profiles with the ability to automatically download subagent data from the agency's CRM system
  • Configuration of multi-level sub-agent networks with the possibility for the sub-agent to manage the lower hierarchy
  • Flexible management of subagent's markups, discounts, commissions depending on commercial conditions for content booking
  • Management of routing of requests for content search and booking on the basis of business rules, taking into account the set parameters for profitability of sales at simultaneous work in multiple locations
  • Defining subagent business rules such as commissions, discounts, fees, charges, limits for subagent groups, for each specific account within the subagent
  • Distinguishing sub-agent rights to access order handling functions
  • Provision of automatic and semi-automatic mode of processing orders and secondary operations

Working with the subagent network using the System, the agency is able to provide its subagents not only with a graphical interface, but also with the possibility of integration via a unified XML API, which, similarly to the GUI, will take into account all settings regarding the content, functionality and price settings available to the subagent.

In addition to the functionalities provided in the system directly for sub-agents, additional specialised functions designed to work with corporate clients have been implemented in the system, namely:

  • Entering and storing information on corporate clients of the agency in the system
  • Setting up travel policies for each type of content available to a corporate client in the system
  • Visual indication of compliance of the selected variant with the travel policy
  • Management of the rights of applicavers in the system and customisation of their actions when approving travel booking requests
  • Specialised reports for corporate clients (travel calendar)

Functionality of B2С

The b2c mode in the system is designed to solve the most frequent and resource-intensive tasks that arise in the daily activities of an online travel agency. The system is designed to optimally meet the requirements of modern online booking platforms interacting with the end user.

  • Graphical booking interface, implemented as a widget for easy embedding on the online travel agency website in the agency CMS
  • Adaptive design and layout of the interface for high-quality work with the system both from stationary and mobile devices
  • High-speed search and calculation of combinations received by the system, including in case of simultaneous work of the agency in multiple locations

The system has a developed set of XML and JSON APIs available to the agency, which can be used for independent development of separate necessary applications (e.g. mobile or web applications). The GUI appearance of the system can be customised by the agency on its own without involving developer's specialists.

Administration

The system is managed by establishing business rules and setting settings available to system administrators in the control panel. Through the control panel can be set:

  • User and group settings, their rights and roles
  • System appearance settings, prescribed styles and custom scripts
  • Settings of notifications on key events in the process of booking and registration of services
  • Settings for working with currency exchange rates and data formats
  • Settings of restrictions and limits when working with the system
  • Settings for routing searches and bookings
  • Settings for working with order queues
  • Localisation settings (GUI language versions)
  • Settings for payment methods for each type and content provider
  • Settings for integration with external systems and services
  • Security settings

Also available in the control panel is the log of user actions in the system and a link to logs of messages between the system and GSD/CRS, payment and mail systems. Sections of the control panel are provided with links to the user manual with explanation of the principle of operation of specific settings of the section.
